It's Official

Well, for those of you who don't know we have officially moved out of our house. The economy has hit our family pretty hard and we are taking steps so things don't get out of control. So, we've decided to put our house on the market and having the real estate agent "stage" it. That is when they bring in all their show-room furniture to make our little, old house worth spending just under a million dollars for. Not too bad for bay views from the back windows and (with a second story) ocean from the front. For the time being we are so fortunate that Betty has allowed us to move up to the beach house in Oceanside. Although, there are some days were one or both of us gets in a little fear and wants to know the where, when, how but for the most part we trust that our Higher Power is in charge and are mostly excited to see what He has in store for us. The "plan" is to sell the house and possibly the business and purchase something 15 minutes in from the coast, maybe in Del Cerro. For now I am letting go of the image of Baxter running down to the cliffs, board in hand, to catch a quick surf before school.
In the midst of moving my dad ended up having emergency open heart surgery last week. It went very well and he is at home recovering. Thanks to every one who sent your love, prayers and support.
